Hello, all! 

The weather here in the UK has finally improved and I've been making the most of it! It's so nice :D

I took a few trips to Wales with my partner. Bala is one of my favourite regular spots to visit, especially the lake.

Not much to talk about this time as I've officially started my new job and been fully focusing on that instead of game development. It's been going really well and hopefully I'll find a routine and start to have more time to dedicate to Zoomies!

New Track - Spooky Mansion

The new track features a spooky mansion and (like the spooky Suburbs track variant) carries a Halloween theme. It's a straightforward course that runs along the outskirts of an apparently abandoned estate, including a detour through a creepy forest (as shown in the gif below).

Designed to be accessible and speedy, this track is likely to be one of the initial ones unlocked when starting the game. Players skilled at drifting with their cats will find it particularly enjoyable, thanks to its abundance of fast corners, especially in the forest section.

Work In Progress - Cosmetics

To enhance the game's longevity and offer customization options, I'm developing a system that incorporates collectible cosmetics. Players will have the opportunity to collect various cosmetic items that can be used to personalize their in-game experience. These items will range from visual enhancements to their cats to unique and thematic accessories.

Additionally, the game will feature an achievement system where players can complete specific tasks or reach milestones to earn rewards. These achievements will provide an extra layer of challenge and offer additional incentives for players to explore different aspects of the game.
